Can you hear me my lovely boys and girls?
Yeap, that's the first sentence of the ever famous song sang by Sheryl Nome/ May'N from Macross Frontier.
Why did i start the blog with that sentence? well, it's to associate it with the shoot the Team had last weekend.
I woke up at 5am....come on...5AM!!!! what ungodly earth hour is that?!?!?!?it's the first time i woke up so early for a photoshoot..ALL because i needed to get make up done. Ugh, the tortures of cosplaying female characters. ANd a galactic fairy at that....=_=
ANYWAY, it wasn't that hard on me though, i just needed to sit there and be a mannequin. It was riko who was doing all the make up.
We took an hour to finish make up, and well...i was kinda grouchy because i am not a morning person AT ALL!!!So, we left the house after that to wait for the Yeoh Sistas and then we finally set out to Putrajaya once we met at the rendezvous point.
I never liked going to Putrajaya...it seems the person who did the signboards there are either illiterate, a big noob in directions, or just plain stupid. The signboards lead to no where and the roads are ALWAYS so confusing. I was actually losing my cool when i tried to go to the photoshoot venue. and the bonus was, it started to rain when we FINALLY reached the place.
No words could describe how frustrated i was that morning. I almost gave up the photoshoot (no, really..i wanted to change into my normal outfit already)...
Then good thing the rain subsided and we finally decided to shoot at one of the bridges in Putrajaya. As it was a Sunday morning, no one was around so we just got down the car and started shooting as we were already running late. (no thanks to the stupid rain)
What i don't understand was......everytime a car, bus or lorry drives by, they would honk. Why in the world would they honk at us? it's not as if we're blocking the road or wearing skimpy clothing...It was in fact all covered up.....it was like a normal school uniform!
Those perverted drivers would just honk at us, and drive by.......Perverted hentai jijis...i hope their eyes would just bleed and get infected by some kinda virus that would make them loose 50% of their vision. (no, i'm not that mean.....i want them to be able to see, but NOT CLEAR...that's the ultimate torture...to be able to see, and yet not be able to see....BWAHAHAH!!!)
Then there was this family who also came and took photos around the bridge. We then moved further away from them, but i realized that one of them (i suppose it's the father, what perverted father those kids have...i pity them) suddenly aimed at us with his camera. I immediately moved my arms and covered the direction in which they are shooting. STUPID PERVERTED PEOPLE! (oh, no intended malice comment here, but FYI, they were malays...... =_=)
SO, we decided to wrap up the shoot at about 10.30am because it was too hot to carry on, and the sun will just fry whatever shot we have.
I didn't really edited many shots because i was kinda busy, but here's what we had...
yeah, i cosplayed...instead of CROSSPLAYING...and i believe it would be a very very very long time before i cosplayed again. I think i'll stick to CROSSPLAYING because i realised that my body shape is more suited to cosplay guy characters. My shoulders are too broad...IMHO ><;;;
So yeah, after that we headed to Alamanda and had our lunch at Burger King. The joke was, we actually didn't want to eat fast food, but were given no choice because the place we wanted to go was NOT READY YET....(and it was already 11.30am mind you)
all i could think of, is maybe.....it was during the ramadhan month, so they didn't bother to fix anything around that time.
BUT BURGER KING WAS AWESOME..!!!
So anyway, thanks people for putting up with my mood swings during the shoot.
But no worries, it will be a LONG LONG time before i plan to put on another female cosplay...^^
so, it's LONG LONG GOODBYE for this costume....^^
