iMAC or....??? Advise anyone?

i don't know what's with my luck and computers...
eversince my laptop died on me a last year.....i've had shitty luck with hand-me-down computers...

But i managed to pull through for 6 months with my bro's computer (after he leveled up his machine, he passed his...err..not-so-AWESOME machine to me...)
And last night, after a tiring and exhausting session in gym, i came back home, wanting to look through some cosfest pics and a little FB...
i pressed the button.....once, twice, thrice....and there were no reactions from the machine..

i immediately went NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
(like literally...and started cursing..you know..the usual !@#@$#^!$#!@#$^$@#&^*)

oh well..maybe it's God's signal....by killing off my machine, maybe he meant it as ' GO GET YOUR OWN MACHINE NOW...GOSH HOW LONG ARE YOU GOING TO PROCRASTINATE?!?!??!'

which...got me thinking....i've been aiming at the iMAC since i don't remember when....
but then i would have to go....sell my butt or sumthing to get the iMac..(it's expensive ya know?!!?!!?)
then i considered a customized desktop...
saw my younger bro's one...not too shabby, in fact...it's kinda cool....and now that i've already gotten myself a 23" monitor......it'd go to waste if i bought the iMAC...

So....my budget for the customized desktop is RM2K++ (max approximately RM2500)
and the imac? well...it's gonna cost me close to RM7K after adding the specs....

What's your say?
Advices anyone?

Bukit Jalil Park

well yeah...whilst everyone else is busy enjoying themselves at CosFest in Singapore, a bunch of nutters decided to drive ALLLLLLLLLLLL the way from Klang to Bukit Jalil Park..for the fun of it....LOL..

Okaaayy...maybe i lied for the 'for fun' part...but we really did drive all the way from Klang to Bukit Jalil park....
Why you asked?

well, we'll be having a shoot in the near future there, and none of us has the slightest bit of idea how the park looks like..
So what better way than to go there and see it for ourselves?

Hmm.....lost our way a little on the way there, because our human GPS, strayed from her position...instead of directing us where to turn and what nots, she decided to talk on the phone....=_=

So i missed the turning into the park and then we had to go out to the main road and make a U turn....LOL..
oh well..the fun of searching for a new place is always the part where we got lost..hahah..

ANYWAY~~~~~
finally we arrived at the place...(yay!!) but gosh..the place is so freaking huge, and walking under the sun at about 2pm is NEVER fun....=_=
we were fried alive...hahaha.......and the umbrella has never been such a good friend before..hahaha..

so we did find the area we wanted to have our shoot...i was a little bit TAD disappointed because i expected the area to be a little bigger....(the international parks)
but nevertheless, it's a start.....
We moved to ALL the countries's parks and started snapping photos.....it was freaking hot i tell you..!!!

But anyway...here are the pictars..!!! XD

Yeah...as you can see.....it was FREAKISHLY hot there...
and to think that we had to hike up to the area after we parked our car........
OMAIGOD......>,<

Please, for the love of god.....remind me to bring umbrellas and my bon odori fan when we're having our shoot.....
It's a nice place to have photoshoots though...
just that....the weather might kill us all..hahaha...

now, why can't the temperature in Malaysia drop by 5 - 8 degrees? i'm not asking for it to start snowing..just..drop by 8 degrees Celsius...then i'll be contented...><;;;

Anyway.......*prays that all will go well for the shoot*

Chef Low's Organic Kitchen

I HAVE BEEN A VEGAN FOR 4 DAYS STRAIGHT..!!!!
i find this pretty much an achievement...because never in my life will i imagine to have vegetarian lunch for 4 days straight!
Anyway, there's this particular restaurant in which i find rather interesting.
It's situated at Boulevard 10....It's called

"Chef Low's Organic Kitchen"

FYI, just in case you didn't know where Boulevard 10 is....when you exit the Damansara Toll via NKVE, it's on the right (you'll see those...er....2nd hand car shops on your left)
A row of White and New office shophouses. Just take a U Turn at the nearby junction and keep left..you wont miss it! And the Restaurant is AT THE BACK of Boulevard 10..meaning it's hidden away at the back.....=_=

ANYWAY~~~
back to the food..err..i mean restaurant....
We went there basically to celebrate one of our dear colleague's birthday and why this restaurant? well...because the said colleague is a Vegan....^^

So yeah, all of us jumped in the bandwagon and decided to be Vegans for the day (orr...wait...let me rephrase...FOR LUNCH...LOL)

Price range is pretty reasonable, considering the portion that arrived.
And do not underestimate the taste of Vegetarian food...it could rival that of normal MEAT...LOL...
NO REALLY..!!!
I really really love the Yam Pot...though there weren't any meat in it, there were those....err....HUGE Button Mushrooms...(those that i usually spam when i go to Marche's LOL!!)

And one must not MISS the specialty drink there, the Fruit Tea....Almost every table had one....and it's refreshing fragrance of the fruits when you drink it is heavenly!
OKAAYYY...enough of words...i guess the photos speak for themselves!

Pretty cozy area....Looks pretty classy, but food price is kinda reasonable! XD

Upon opening the menu, i found this and well....INTERESTING~~~~~ (a colleague even asked me...' IS ALBERT EINSTEIN VEGETARIAN!!!?' Err...i have no idea..=_=

The delectable Fruit Tea!

I ordered the Herbal Fried Ramen (wanted to go for Tom Yam, but my sore throat made me ordered this instead....STILL, it's delicious....AND THE PORTION is humungous!)
And last but not least.....

THE YAM POT!!!!
Loved this a lot..!! XD XD

So, I'd definitely recommend this place....though, sometimes the service MIGHT get a little slow....or maybe, it's just us....^^

Getting in shape once more.....

Well, i've been a VEEEEEEEERRRYYY good girl this week because i've been working my ass off in Gym...
No joke...after a whole month of 'main main' in the gym, starting off wiht a 5km run, 2km boat rowing and 15 mins on the Step Climber is.....torture...

But as much as the torture is, i went through it....4 DAYS.....
yup..it was my routine starting Saturday last week.....(Sunday was off day..LOL) til today....
And to top it off, i've been 95% vegetarian since Monday......(okay...i totally forgot and ate a few pieces of sweet and sour pork....thus the 5%..LOL!!)

ANYWAY~~~~~
There were SOOOOOOOOOOO many times i wanted to reduce the speed of the threadmill..but everytime i reached out for the button, anime songs of what i have planned to cosplay in the near future will start to appear in the ipod....
Then it got me thinking of the character....the impossible structure of their body.....
well, that's my source of motivation i guess...
instead of turning down the speed, i increased it..LOL!!!!

Yup...motivation is the key......You need something to REALLY motivate you when you're in Gym...
it's definitely not easy to get into the gym routine i once had....however, slowly and surely..i'm getting there....

OH...btw...a tip for you guys out there who are gym freaks....
- Always have upbeat songs in your mp3 player/ipod (that way, you'll continue running eventhough you're tired....REALLY...it works for me..)
- Work on your abs...i think i read in SHAPE magazine (if i'm not mistaken) that studies show that with stronger abs, runners are able to go further.....
- How to work with abs? well..easiest way is to sit up....another fun way is to do Belly Dancing..
i quote Hei from Darker Than Black : Ryuusei no Gemini -- The best way to train the abs in a short period of time is Belly Dancing..!! (no really..!! that's what he said when he was training Suou...!!)
- Sing along with your songs when you run....it makes everything fun.....

Usually i don't load slow moving songs into my ipod...OKAYY...maybe 1 or 2...but that's also because i'm cosplaying someone from that particular anime...LOL!!! (motivation peeps..motivation....)
Exercising is fun and enjoyable, only if you make it so....
So, GO SWEAT OUT SOME FATS PEEPS!!!!
