I stumbled upon this quiz when i was giving my brains a break from work...(looking at all those chinese words gives me headache..@_@|||)

Well, that's that for ACGC day 01 and 02....I wasn't really happy with my cosplay for day 02 as Yamamoto because of the inaccuracy of the wig. It's passable, but i wasn't really happy with it. I don't think i'll be reviving this cosplay anymore unless i get a suitable wig or i chop my hair really short.

Anyway, Yama was a fun character to cosplay, and i get to laugh and smile all the time (lol..something i do best...AHAHA)

Well, I SHALL DO BETTER IN MY NEXT EVENT..!! as they say, you're only as good as your last cosplay, and i think i sucked pretty much here...XD BUT, having the courage to admit that you suck means you know where to improve..isn't it? So, having said so, it's a vow i'm making to myself that i'll improve for my next cosplay......YOSH..GANBATTE ORE..!!!!

What's with all those sarcasm i sense? yes, no doubt my ENGLISH isn't as good as many of you guys out there, but i still sense that high level of sarcasm. You've lost, so live with it!

Seriously people, if you do not follow the rules and criteria of a certain competition, it's obvious that you won't win. In fact, without following those rules and criterias stated, you'll automatically be DISQUALIFIED.

And now, you're all bickering about why you didn't win and another person won? seriously, get a life. It sickens and i'm EXTREMELY dissapointed to see that a veteran participant, throw sarcastic comments on such petty matters. In fact, how many competitions have you entered?

and yet, you reply in such a manner that only degrades you.

Yes, the surprise factor is still there, in fact, it has never strucked us that we, or rather the other person would win it. I know you are already getting your silly ass ready to accept that award when the name announced wasn't your name. so what? live with it!

When times that we didn't get what we wanted from the competition, we always tell ourselves, " Oh well, let's do better next time. With more effort and luck, hopefully we'll win it next time "....
I salute you as a veteran participant, so why can't you have that way of thinking, instead of throwing around sarcasm that would MOST DEFINITELY show that you're a sore loser?

Furthermore, you're putting it as though it is a puny thing. A comment done will usually make or break a person's mind. You don't know what damage is inflicted upon the person you made that sarcastic comment on. Yes, i understand if a person loses in a competition, definitely there will be anger, dissapointment as well as unsatisfaction. It's only human to have such feelings. But you needn't announce it and use sarcasm....

YES, I AM UNSATISFIED AT YOUR SARCASTIC REMARK....Though it's not directed at me, i feel for my fellow comrade. IT ISN'T FAIR THAT YOU MADE THAT REMARK. I'VE SEEN HER EFFORT, I'VE SEEN HOW HARD SHE WORKED ON IT, and to think that she took the trouble to FOLLOW THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE COMPETITION only for you to diss her off that way, it's really really dissapointing.

I guess when it comes to monetary and fame, it really changes a person.

A Terribly Tired but Tremendously Enjoyed Weekend!

YEs....t'was a really tiring weekend for me but a tremendously enjoyed one. A weekend of fun, excitement and get together again.

Yes, it was a weekend of COSPLAY and EVENTS!!

on the 21st and 22nd, team Crimson Cross attended ACGC in Tropicana Mall. We didn't really cosplayed on the first day of the event, mainly because we were karaoke-ing prior to attending the event. From 11 - 2 pm we were screaming our lungs out in Red Box the Curve. LOL, we finally broke our jinx of not being able to go for karaoke!! YATTTAA!!!!! (you see, previously, all our plans to go for our karaoke session would always be ruined either by no rooms, or severe sore throat conditions)

And my god...the food there was awesome.....ohh, i forgot...THANK YOU RIKO FOR BELANJA-ING US..!!!!! I WUBBBB YOu..>XD XD XD

then after the karaoke session, we went to tropicana mall for our event. For the first day, i went as a photog, because the cosplaying mood didn't hit me yet. So i snapped away. (shall update this blog with piccies later tonite...LOL)

And we did a short photoshoot there for Riko and Michiru......both cosplaying Murrue Ramias (Gundam Seed Destiny) and Rinali Li ( D Gray Man) respectively...

Me and Tsu were the 'KLF' or in a more well known term, KAY LEY FEIs....

We didnt really stayed for long there as there was nothing much to do on the first day. So we left rather early. (after having our dinner there of course...SUBWAY....but somehow tsu and riko ended up having an upset stomach because of that....SEE LA.!! YOU ALL EAT MAYO LA...haha.....)

Came 2nd day of ACGC, we were all busy preparing in my house for our cosplay...We went as KHR members, riko was Tsuna, Tsu as Hibari, Michiru as Bianchi and me as Yamamoto. (gosh...i was having wig problem because i sprayed my wig black, and the color kept coming off....i stained my fingers and colar black....-_-lll)

We reached there and registered for the competition, and then went around searching for places to have our lunch. We finally decided on Restaurant Food and Tea, and as expected, as we reached there, heads turned and the people there were staring because of our get-up. I was rather annoyed, so i spoke out loud ' QUIT STARING, HAVEN'T YOU GUYS SEEN PEOPLE COSPLAY?' gosh...don't these people know it's rude to stare? only uncivilized people stare at others. 

So we settled down and had our lunch, and then head back to the cosplay venue. More cosplayers turned up that time, and it was more 'event-y' that time. We took photos, had a really short and simple photoshoot and then prepared for riko's competition. (we had a skit prepared for the competition so we were rehearsing...and GOD...this was the first time i had so many lines to say....SO PRESSURE LA WEI....0__0)

AND as usual, there was the delay in the event, whereby the solo competition was delayed by 40minutes. It kinda pissed me off a little as the solo competition were taking too long, and i could see the faces of the judges were also showing signs of tiredness and bored. After our skit was done, i immediately took off my wig (gah...it was annoying to have your fingers turn black everytime you accidentally touch your head...OTL)

Then we sat on one side, gossiped a little about people (hey, that's what girls do...ever heard of the show 'GOSSIP GIRLS'?) and then waited for the competition to end. It was enjoyable seeing ranka sang on stage, and also Dr Stein's performance was hysterically fantastic! (ok, that cosplayer was kinda good looking so it added to the 'fantastic-ness'...LOL)

When they announced the results, we were walking away from the venue when one of the judges chased after us. Riko, tsu and michiru were already turning back and running towards the stage area, but i was still in the midst of blurness, because i had no idea what happened. So, i just followed them....lol....THEN, only it hit me, that they announced that SAWADA TSUNAYOSHI won the best craftmanship award, and that riko was the only SAWADA TSUNAYOSHI there. LOL..yes..i know i am SLOW...

so when they were running, i was already getting ready to dig out her gloves and dying will flame from her bag. Michiru helped riko with her left hand, tsu with her right and i was pinning the dying will flame onto her wig....And TADAH..!! we have the jyudaime...XD...

The whole process was so hilarious, i could remmeber it so clearly as if it just happened 5 minutes ago...hahahaha.....

Anyway, it was a really fun event, meeting up with old friends as well as new ones really made my day.

Believe in yourself~

Well, many a times people tend to ask me,

"Where do you get your confidence from?" "How did you manage through all those"

Hmm...frankly speaking, i really do not know what to answer them. All i could say is to believe in yourself, and also be optimistic. There will always be another window open even if the door is shut.(LOL..so you can still climb out that window....haha..)

ANYWAY, what i'm trying to say is that no matter what happens, all you need to do is to trust yourself, believe and tell yourself that you can do it. Yes, to some people, this is called 'LYING TO YOURSELF'. But to me, i take it as a motivation, a determination, a goal....

Apart from that, i always tell my friends...and also myself, Life has to go on no matter what, why not go on with life in a happy manner, rather than indulge yourself in the depth of depression? I am also human, a normal ordinary individual (ok, maybe a little unusual la..haha..) What i can do, others can too.

I'm not a greedy person, i do not ask to be the genius of it all, or the jack of all trades. I just try to do whatever task and overcome whatever obstacles i come across. No, i'm not boasting about myself here (even if i am, HEY! THIS IS MY BLOG, I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT..!! BLEKK!!! =P)

What i am trying to mean after all those blabbering up there, is that, you are who you are...there is no point changing yourself because someone told you something that is against your personality. It is your personality which makes you stand out, it is your personality which makes you special and unique, so why bother changing?

In the end, it all leads back to the same sentence...' BELIEVE IN YOURSELF '....
Well, that's that, and it's just a little something little hito here would like to share.

p/s...Ah~~ regarding the confidence, well, i gained LOTS of them once i started to cosplay. DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY BEING DIFFERENT. COSPLAYING IS NOT A FREAK SHOW, IT'S A HOBBY, IT'S A PASTIME, IT'S A PASSION.

Uncivilized bastards in Bukit Tinggi 2, Klang

Yes, i'm extremely furious....you see, my bro bought a house in Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2, Klang. And we've been making frequent visits to our new house lately. But hey, it's only normal that we visit our own house rite?

So here's the situation, today, we went over to the house again, and it was rainning...i stress again, IT WAS RAINNING....
when we arrived, there was a car parked RIGHT in front of our gate. The most obvious action anyone will do was to sound the honk of the car, so that the owner of the car would move his useless-lousy-MAROON PROTON WIRA NUMBER PLATE BFM 2343. (heck cares, i'll let everyone know his number plate.)

Ahem, ok, back to the topic....that bastard came out, and moved his car.....and before he did, my dad sort of told him not to park his car in front of our gate, in a civilized manner.

That KURANG AJAR bastard, replied me dad DAMN rudely...well, i assumed he hasn't been getting good education and moral values from his parents...

BUt surprise surprise..!! his father came out and started to yell and threatened my mom and dad..saying he wants to hit us...

I was already fuming that time, i was already shouting all those vulgar languages in the car...(i wanted to get down, but i was stuck at the end seat of an Avanza, and i was basically trapped, because my aunt and grandaunt was sitting in front of me...)

So, as i got down, i screamed back, all those words that you could think of, or at least, imagine i could scream.

So you see, the new house is a nice place to stay in......BUT, with all those uncivilized bastards, what can a person do?

As a normal person, i can only

CURSE THAT BRAINLESS FATASS TO GET LUNG CANCER FAST AND DIE...AND THEN HIS FAMILY IS CURSED WITH ETERNAL BADLUCK,

HIS SON COULD NOT FIND ANY JOB (assuming that he hasn't been working),

OKAAYY~~~ as dramatic as the title sounds, yes, my body is aching now. All thanks to, FITNESS FIRST....

Yea, i joined my first class session with Fitness First today. Nothing too hard and challenging...just Body Jam, where you fling your hands around and stomp mindlessly in the room, hoping to sweat out a few of your excess weight. Though as easy as it sounds, GOSH, my shoulder blade muscle hurts, as well as my thighs.....
Guess stopping gym for almost 6 months is a no no eh? (i used to be with fitness concept, but eversince my office shifted, i discontinued my sessions there.)

But I LOVE LOVE LOVE the steam room....I get to sweat buckets of unwanted water in my body there. And what better way to do it with Feliciao and Theif? XD
We get to talk our girl talk in the steam room, and complain about the heat.
But anyway, i do hope i'll be able to shed at least 10kgs this time. Determination is EXTREMELY important here, that's why I made it a point to hang one of my tight fitting costumes in the MOST visible area in my room, to remind me that, all those sacrifices, sweat and tears will not be in vain.

As of late, I see many people asking easy questions like

' HOW / WHERE CAN I GET dot dot dot's COSTUME? PREFER READY STOCK. '

or

' WHO CAN MAKE dotdotdot's COSTUME FOR ME? I WANNA START COSPLAYING THIS YEAR BUT I CANT SEW'

Goodness gracious....WHERE IS THE EFFORT?!?! cosplaying is all about effort, the process of making the costume/prop/accesories.

Yes, I can't sew and I personally admit that NONE of my costumes are handsewn by myself, but I made the effort to search for it online, get all those blueprints, go through the excruiciating time explanning details to my tailor. AND some of my costumes are self modified....meaning although i did not sew the costume from scratch, at least i did modify it myself. (and everytime after sewing, i'll end up with fingers full of plasters)

I even stayed up really late to wait for certain people that could help me....learnt how to read simple chinese (if i were to order from some chinese supplier).

And yet, I see people nowadays popping up at some forums, asking those pathethic questions....
It is really saddening to see that Cosplaying has become a way to attract attention, rather than for those cosplayers to express their passion and love for that hobby.

BUT, I know there are those dedicated cosplayers out there, and i seriously salute you guys from the bottom of my heart.....those who sew their own costumes, make their own prop...seriously, you guys are on another level....*salutes*
