A Terribly Tired but Tremendously Enjoyed Weekend!

YEs....t'was a really tiring weekend for me but a tremendously enjoyed one. A weekend of fun, excitement and get together again.

Yes, it was a weekend of COSPLAY and EVENTS!!

on the 21st and 22nd, team Crimson Cross attended ACGC in Tropicana Mall. We didn't really cosplayed on the first day of the event, mainly because we were karaoke-ing prior to attending the event. From 11 - 2 pm we were screaming our lungs out in Red Box the Curve. LOL, we finally broke our jinx of not being able to go for karaoke!! YATTTAA!!!!! (you see, previously, all our plans to go for our karaoke session would always be ruined either by no rooms, or severe sore throat conditions)

And my god...the food there was awesome.....ohh, i forgot...THANK YOU RIKO FOR BELANJA-ING US..!!!!! I WUBBBB YOu..>XD XD XD

then after the karaoke session, we went to tropicana mall for our event. For the first day, i went as a photog, because the cosplaying mood didn't hit me yet. So i snapped away. (shall update this blog with piccies later tonite...LOL)

And we did a short photoshoot there for Riko and Michiru......both cosplaying Murrue Ramias (Gundam Seed Destiny) and Rinali Li ( D Gray Man) respectively...

Me and Tsu were the 'KLF' or in a more well known term, KAY LEY FEIs....

We didnt really stayed for long there as there was nothing much to do on the first day. So we left rather early. (after having our dinner there of course...SUBWAY....but somehow tsu and riko ended up having an upset stomach because of that....SEE LA.!! YOU ALL EAT MAYO LA...haha.....)

Came 2nd day of ACGC, we were all busy preparing in my house for our cosplay...We went as KHR members, riko was Tsuna, Tsu as Hibari, Michiru as Bianchi and me as Yamamoto. (gosh...i was having wig problem because i sprayed my wig black, and the color kept coming off....i stained my fingers and colar black....-_-lll)

We reached there and registered for the competition, and then went around searching for places to have our lunch. We finally decided on Restaurant Food and Tea, and as expected, as we reached there, heads turned and the people there were staring because of our get-up. I was rather annoyed, so i spoke out loud ' QUIT STARING, HAVEN'T YOU GUYS SEEN PEOPLE COSPLAY?' gosh...don't these people know it's rude to stare? only uncivilized people stare at others. 

So we settled down and had our lunch, and then head back to the cosplay venue. More cosplayers turned up that time, and it was more 'event-y' that time. We took photos, had a really short and simple photoshoot and then prepared for riko's competition. (we had a skit prepared for the competition so we were rehearsing...and GOD...this was the first time i had so many lines to say....SO PRESSURE LA WEI....0__0)

AND as usual, there was the delay in the event, whereby the solo competition was delayed by 40minutes. It kinda pissed me off a little as the solo competition were taking too long, and i could see the faces of the judges were also showing signs of tiredness and bored. After our skit was done, i immediately took off my wig (gah...it was annoying to have your fingers turn black everytime you accidentally touch your head...OTL)

Then we sat on one side, gossiped a little about people (hey, that's what girls do...ever heard of the show 'GOSSIP GIRLS'?) and then waited for the competition to end. It was enjoyable seeing ranka sang on stage, and also Dr Stein's performance was hysterically fantastic! (ok, that cosplayer was kinda good looking so it added to the 'fantastic-ness'...LOL)

When they announced the results, we were walking away from the venue when one of the judges chased after us. Riko, tsu and michiru were already turning back and running towards the stage area, but i was still in the midst of blurness, because i had no idea what happened. So, i just followed them....lol....THEN, only it hit me, that they announced that SAWADA TSUNAYOSHI won the best craftmanship award, and that riko was the only SAWADA TSUNAYOSHI there. LOL..yes..i know i am SLOW...

so when they were running, i was already getting ready to dig out her gloves and dying will flame from her bag. Michiru helped riko with her left hand, tsu with her right and i was pinning the dying will flame onto her wig....And TADAH..!! we have the jyudaime...XD...

The whole process was so hilarious, i could remmeber it so clearly as if it just happened 5 minutes ago...hahahaha.....

Anyway, it was a really fun event, meeting up with old friends as well as new ones really made my day.
