Loser...in a good way

It's never easy to drag yourself to gym everyday. Heck, it's never easy to say no to food, sweets, snacks and the like.

Imagine eating only oats...well, been there, done that.

People kept asking me things like
" Why do you slave yourself at gym everyday after work" or " why pay so much just to torture yourself"....

Er, my good friend, it's a lifestyle...yeah well getting into the drill is difficult..no doubts there...but it's the motivation that gets u started... The rest it's up to determination and habit.

So I may be a loser here, but I m losing those shackles that would cause me an early death. Had I not changed my lifestyle, I would've weighed more than a whopping 100kg now.

So all I wanna say is...it's never too late to change yourself..the first step is always the hardest..but get into momentum, and you'll come to realize that there's so much you could achieve in life. NEVER IN MY LIFE...had I imagine that I could complete a 12.3km run in less than 2 hours...but I did it....break the boundaries...if an oversized girl like me could do it...anyone can!

Ps : and my source of motivation?? COSPLAY.....:)

Bonus or not, i don't care....SPENDING LIKE A BOSS~~!!

Well, for the past week, i've been a bimbo....i was so broke, i think the theif, hacker or whatever would be so dissapointed, in fact, i think the thief would be richer than me..

i only have RM20 left in my bank account....and all of us (me and my colleagues) were all hoping that we'd be graced upon with the arrival of our Bonuses.....
we were told that we'll be getting it on the 15th..........or so we thought...

So we all basically stalked our bank accounts......and to our dissapointment (or rather MY dissapointment), i am still left with RM20.....

And then OFF i went to Pyramid.....
at first i was going all 'OH, NICE CLOTHES BUT I HAVE NO MUNNEEH~~~~'
'OH, IF I HAD MY BONUS I WOULD'VE BOUGHT THAT, I WOULD'VE THIS and THAT'....

then after that, i went....HECK CARES!!! i still have my credit card...
thus, i ended up with a pair of shoes, and a biker leather jacket from Forever 21....
IT WAS A STEAL!!!! i saw those jacket in Topshop, Esprit and the likes, and it was RM300+++
(WTF !?!?!)
but here, i saw...the last one, and it was my size.........for RM129....*grins*
it's like, it's meant for me..!!!!!
so yeah....when i went to the cashier, i just randomly asked ' Do you have....like, student's discount or sumthing like that'....that cashier said yes and i went OMG *grabs student card out*

WOHOOoo...at the end of the day, it costed me only RM116....BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!
for those shoes, it was a perfect fit, comfortable and it had slight heels...PERFECT.....(for my CF2012 cosplay)

besides that, i could use it for work..LOL!!!


SO YEAH...TAKE THAT!! EVEN IF I HAD NO BONUS, I COULD STILL SPEND MONEY..!! BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!! *shudders at the thought of next month's Credit Card bills...but..OH WELL....XD XD*

Friday the 13th

I feel whatever that happened today earned it's place in this blog of mine. From broken windscreen to missing earrings to eating rotten food, twas a day to remember.

First of all, what started my day was...my broken windscreen.
Was driving along NKVE heading towards Damansara when suddenly I heard a loud 'pop', and the next thing i know, my left arm was covered with shattered glasses.

So started my bad luck streak.

Reached office, met a nooB and sorry excuse for a driver...she parks her car ON the line...I suppose she must've thought that her car was an airplane.

Then, halfway through the day, my earring stud went missing. Couldn't find them anymore...it was as if it fell into a dimensional porthole or something...

FINALLY, I think I must've eaten an expired bun pastry, which resulted in a rather bad tummyache.

So after the day is over, I bled a hefty RM400 to replace my windscreen. But the day became brighter with awesome company...they were there for me when I needed them, they assisted and gave me strength. Thank you so much for everything today. Grace, Jeslyn, Jillian....thank you, and thank you again my dear jie jie's...!!!

work rant....

well, yeah...recently i was promoted to being a senior, and i tell you, it is no simple task to take on that responsibility. You're no longer the little junior colleague...everyone expects you to be able to perform....

so yeah, i have no qualms on that, in fact...i am well confident that i'm able to pull off whatever task that my boss throw at me.........
all, but one SLIGHT thing that irks me, is to designate task to my junior colleagues.

Currently, my senior colleague is on maternity leave, in which she'll only be back on the 30th of Jan. So most of the task will drop to my table, and to add cili padi to the already spicy nasi lemak, my boss had to go off on an overseas business trip...leaving almost EVERYTHING concerning the department to me..

well, no problems there also...communication has never been a problem for me....
ALL is well, except DESIGNATING jobs to my junior colleagues.
i have 3 junior colleagues.....2 of them i manage to convey the meanings of the task /concept/ jobs to them...

1 more.....that 1 more basically almost made me pull my hair out.....
When i was explaining, the other 2, whom catches things quite fast...paid attention.....but THAT ONE, which does thing a bit TAD slow, was busy staring off at his own machine....

if you can't pick up things as fast, then you should PAY ATTENTION when i'm talking..
If you don't understand ask..!!!
after i finished explaining everything........he waited around 5 minutes,.....then only asked me what was that briefing all about.....

I WENT FUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!! you wan me to explain ALL OVER AGAIN!?!??! (which i did...=_=)

WE ARE NOT IN COLLEGE ANYMORE BOY.....GROW UP!!! THIS IS THE WORKING WORLD!!!!
you'd be left behind for being so slow......i know i'm mean, but hey..that's how the world works....

ok..rant over....back to work....=_=

Tattoo Type 2...FINALIZED~!!

After so many surveys, researches, drawing and referencing....finally, i got my tattoo type 2 design.!!!

well, not much of a self design...basically i plucked this off Fate Prototype.
The moment i saw the 7 masters' symbol, i was hooked.
And coincidentally i was searching for designs with Wings...but not too much of a fantasy element.
I actually tried mixing a few winged designs initially, but then none of them worked out...(more like, all looked mutated..LOL!!)

then when i saw Fate Prototype, i went HOMG NICEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! the placement of all the wings are FANTASTIC!!! i wanted to put ODD numbered wings above my ankle, but NEVER got the design right.

In case any of you are wondering how does it look like...here's the image of it.


I'm not TOO familiar with Fate Prototype...because mainly it's a prototype idea of how Fate/Stay night should be, UNTIL they scrapped the whole thing and turned Saber's character from a male into female....(AWWWWW SHUCKS!!! Sakurai Takahiro as Saber is totally DROOLABLE..!!! His EXCALIBUR beats female Saber hands down!)

This design is from the 5th Master's symbol....not entirely sure who the servant is, but then the master had this tattoo on her left cheek. I figured instead of my cheek (my dad would disown me if i had a tattoo on my face..=_=), i would put it on my left leg.

So..er..yeah..now imma finding people to go with me to the tattoo parlour..LOL!!

WorldCosplay account

Well yeah...I've jumped in the bandwagon and went ahead to create an account there.

Sadly though, I still am NOT familiar with how things work there. I will still use my CureCos account but I will be abandoning my Cosplay.com account now.

Most updates will still go to my DA because I will sometimes, if not MOST of the time, try to 'dissect' the photos, and I consider that editting part 'art'.

Comic Fiesta 2011 : Post Event Report DAY 02

DAY 02....well well well...what can i say about it..
The mess that the KLCC management did for the first day was cleared off and well handled by the CF Comm...The crowd control went even more smoothly and there was hardly any crazy lines anymore......

I'm not entirely sure if there are any lines..(i'm sure there are a few long queues every now and then) because i was couped in hall 4 the entire day....
WHY? because mobility was.....hazardous...(no, not for me...for the people around me)
because i cosplayed.......

I was with Team Clow the entire day.....and it was my first time at an event..BAREFOOTED...
wasn't a very good experience because i scrubbed my legs like hell when i got home..LOLOLOL!!

As usual, day 02 was when EPIC cosplays appear..(most probably because of the Competition....)
I was particularly awed by the CLAMP team....especially Himawari's Sakura because of the firey designs on her costumes (she cosplayed Sakura from Tsubasa Chronicles, fire kimono version) but it was regrettable that i couldn't snap any of her shots because i only saw her at THE END of the event.....

It was fun meeting up with old friends and getting Coscards..(SO SORRY I HAVE NONE TO GIVE OUT..!!! I'LL CONSIDER MAKING THEM...I THINK...><;;; because i feel no one would want my card, so i just figured..AIYAH..no need to make them la..hahahhah)

I didn't really collect a lot of coscards, but man, i have an awesomely great time during CF this time...

It felt almost like CF2005 - 2007 again..when cosplay was all about fun fun fun....(no drama, no politics, etc)

There were a lot more other AWESOME cosplayers, but then i only manage to snap these few....
Anyway, kudos to the CF Comm for being able to pull off an event of such international scale....
It almost felt like AFA.......XD
Still, the amount of attendees scared me a little as i ponder to think, how are they to get an EVEN BIGGER venue than this next year??
there were approximately 20,000 (if i'm not mistaken) attending this event this year (over the span of 2 days)

but all in all, i enjoyed this years CF A WHOLE LOT..!!
CF COMM, all of you, from President to the helpers and volunteers, you all deserve a pat on the back and AWESOME JOB!!!!! *thumbs up*

And here's to my awesome Team CCS...you all RAWK OKAY?!?! WE BE COSPLAYING CCS LIKE A BOSS~~~~!!! XD XD
