Salutable Japanese

i've never cried for a disaster stricken nation before...but for the recent disaster that struck Japan, i shed tears. No, not because of what had befallen them, but how they aided each other, doing selfless deed and helping anyone and everyone around them.
It was tears of admirability (if there is such a word).....for i know, not every country can execute, much less follow 5% of what they are doing now.

Japan, considerably one of the top 5 strongest and richest country in the world, fell to the wrath of mother nature on the 11th of March 2011, but they are slowly standing up....
but what made me look up to them the most if their selfless deed in helping people around them.

The people stood up, supported each other in these few days of limited water, food and electricity. A line as long as you could imagine was formed, just for a phone call home...but what amazes me was that there was no shoving, no stealing and fighting....everyone lined up and waited for their turn.

Tokyo Disneyland was handing out free food and drinks to the people that were stranded nearby, people were giving out heating pads and offering breads. There was no crime, looting or havoc.
As quoted from one of ther survivors, 'We're all in this, in the same boat'...
Really, these are heart warming stories that could bring anyone to tears...
Have a read here..

I couldn't guarantee that should such disaster happen, or something HALF this size of this disaster happen in where i'm staying (touch wood!), these stories would surface. I foresee crime, looting, fighting and ultimately MORE lives lost, but i do not rule out that there maybe miracles happening in this little country from where i am.
People you meet, you see, heck, even those driving on the road daily are already selfish as they are.
Even the person closest to you now MIGHT NOT do what the Japanese have done for each other in times of difficulties.

God, please have mercy on Japan. Some say it's karma, others feel it's just a matter of coincidence. Karma or not, i feel no one in this world deserves to go through such sufferings.
Japan has colored our lives with so many great things. Technology, Knowledge, Entertainment.....
JAPAN, OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU...
stay strong..!!!!

Earthquake + Tsunami disaster in Japan

It was a Friday evening (local time), and everyone in the office is pretty much relaxed, waiting for the clock to strike 6 so that we could all enjoy our weekends...

However, at about 3.30pm (i think), news was received via MSN, Hotmail, FB, etc that a massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit the shores of Japan, and what followed after was an enormous tsunami.....

Immediately, we all opened CNN, AL JAZEERA, whatever news you could find online regarding mother nature's wrath....
It wasn't clearly shown how bad the damage was...but it was bad...real bad.

Clearer footage of how the enormous tidal wave swallowed up the shores and everything that's in its way were later shown on local news....It's really really bad....i can't find the proper words to describe how devastating the damage was...
It makes us feel so small when faced with the forces of nature...Ships, trains and cars were all swept away as if they were made of paper and plastics.....Roads cracked open like cream crackers and you could see helpless people stuck on rooftops..

And as if that wasn't enough, they had to face with radiations from a nuclear plant....

My prayers goes out to all of Japan as well as the rest of the countries that were hit by this disaster. I'm still looking for trustworthy sites in which i could chip in my donation. It may be like a drop of water in the sea, but at least i will be doing my part to help Japan.

Japan has given us so many wonderful enjoyment in life....Anime, Cosplay, Manga, Games, Technology, Knowledge......it's time we do our part...
God have mercy......

AND, one of the local newspapers decided to draw a tasteless caricature on this disaster. The editor should be SACKED for approving that piece of tasteless crap to be published.
Yeah, i know it's a caricature, but hey, now isn't the time for that ok!?!?
use some brains before you do anything...dumbass...=_=
SHAME ON YOU!!!!

Cherish your loved ones

Cherish your loved ones...
really now, how much do you understand from this?

Earlier today, i attended a wake of my colleague's mom. Her mom passed away without any pain (thank God), but it was really sudden.
Everything happened so fast....

As we were chatting, it got me thinking......i really can't keep my calm...
i put myself in my colleagues position, and truth be told, i almost shed tears......I couldn't bring myself to imagine what would happen, how i would react, how will my everyday life be should someone in my family be gone, just like that....

The person who pass on isn't the one who suffer the most...it's the ones left behind...
i admit, i'm not a religious person when it comes to these stuffs...i don't know what to believe, i don't know what's real..
All my life, i've believed that when you're gone, you're gone...that's it, it's the end of the road, period, tamat, owari, finish.....(if you get what i mean...)

I came back home, and the first thing i did was to greet my dad (usually i'll just walk pass him and go straight to my room), talk to my mom (or rather, kacau her coz she was busy preparing for her next day's class) and play with my baby MiLO. Suddenly i felt, i should bond closer with my family members and not take them for granted...
(holy....my tears are starting to come out now....*sniff* no, really...my vision is blurry because of the tears in my eyes)

I think back, and when my colleague told me that it was a sudden thing....meaning there were no preparation...mentally and physically...
i really couldn't imagine how i would take it.......

after i related what i heard to my parents, i told them....did you all prepare for the worst? ya i know, it's kinda pantang to talk about these things, but my parents aren't those pantang types..heck, my mom even bought an 'apartment' for herself already. it was hilarious looking at her choosing the 'apartment unit'.....
she went...
' aiyo, if i take this 'unit', i can't see the view la.....canot canot....take here, then i canot see buddha's statue,......' and it goes on....lol
gah..i digressed...

anyway, my mom went on to show me where she kept all the documents....both for my mom and dad's....should anything happen, we'll know what to do, and where to find them...

the bottomline is.......It's not the person who 'left' feels the pain...it's the person left behind..
I love my family really really REALLY much, and i pray to God that they'll live a long and healthy life...

Also, my condolences to my fellow colleague.....i can't say i understand how you feel now, but stay strong.......

To all you peeps out there, cherish your loved ones...come home for dinner, have meals with your family members more often....talk to them, joke with them..spend more time with them..
Life is unpredictable....and there aren't much 10 years in our lives...

I love my family.......really really much.

CRAZY BITCH DRIVER~~!!!!

yeah, every now and then, there'll be a rant post...usually about what i see when i drove to work..
As usual, drove to work at a normal speed......NKVE's speed limit is usually 110, but during the morning rush hours, you can't possible 'fly' that fast..
so i was on my usual 90.......

upon reaching the exit to subang airport road, there was this crazy bitch of a driver, around her mid 20s, suddenly cut into my lane, with no indication whatsoever...
hello!? we were both travelling aroud 90 - 100 km/h and you sudddenly cut in?
i had to swerve my car to the left, and it almost hit the divider........good thing i wasn't going at 140..else that's it...you guys will have to come see me in the hospital...

That crazy bitch was EXACTLY next to me when she suddenly turned left.....it's either that bitch fucked with her driving instructor in exchange for her driving licensed, or her mom was the one who fucked with the driving instructor.....
There's no way in the world would she get her driving license the official way.....definitely her dad must've slept with the driving instructor (if the instructor is a she) or she / her mom must've pussied her way through to get a license.

THAT'S HOW ACCIDENTS HAPPEN BITCH!!! you don't go switching lanes like your grandfather owned the roads (oh...maybe your grandfather fucked someone too?)
I didn't get her number plate, but it was a spectacled bitch with straight long hair (slightly at the shoulder) driving a black saga (blm).....oh, she had red head rest too..
crazy bitch......seriously, if i had any powers, i would've made her bang straight at a tree or something....
crazy bitches like her should be fucked and thrown into a prostituting den.....
sheeesh.....

Decisions and Choices

hmm....every now and then, you're thrown with a life decision, those that will be the turning point of a certain issue in life.
Yeah, now i'm being thrown with that decision to make....not really yet, but pretty soon i'll need to make a decision of such.

I once saw this sentence ' It's better to have tried something, then to regret not trying at all '...I think it's in one of the many animes that i've seen. can't remember which one though.....
It might be for the best, or could be for the worst....but i believe it's time to make a choice.

OH, on a sidenote, LOL....not gonna do any photoshoots for the next 2 - 3 months. I'm becoming a fatso, and i wanna lose the extra pounds before i start putting on any costumes of mine.
(CNY cookies are EBIL!!!!!)

my way, my style, my ruleZ

OKAyy.....there are some things i gotta clarify before it goes out of hand...
anything happens and it's my head on the chopping block....

So........listen up carefully.....
(especially for those who comes over to my house often)

- Do not enter anyone's room WITHOUT my permission EXCEPT my room (yes, that means my brothers' room, parents, grandaunt, study, anywhere deemed private)
- Do not touch/take anything in another room WITHOUT my permission. There are some things in my room is meant for DISPLAY only, so DO NOT TOUCH IT unless i say otherwise.
- DO NOT...i stress again...DO NOT SIT ON MY BED WITH YOUR LEGS UP.....my bed is my shrine, and i prefer to keep it clean.
- I DO NOT loan, lend, rent my costumes/props/wigs/whatever unless i know you really well (as in i know where to hunt you down if you don't return me LOL). So please, do not come to me and say ' oh, my friend needs costume XYZ for ABC event, can i pinjam yours for her kthxbye'..i'll ask you to go fly a kite.....or, i'll simply churn up a white lie.
- I HATE people hugging me when i walk......don't come and manja - manja with me...i really hate it. It makes me wanna smack you in the face.
- Learn how to read my facial expression...it's really simple really... i'm a talkative person...so when i get really quiet, you guys know what you've done.
- If, in an event, should I happen to lend you stuffs, please take good care of it..don't let me find it lying at the bottom of your car/ floor/ in your dog's kennel.
- For Facebook, if you have nothing nice to say, then just STFU.....really....i dont need your lousy comments.
- I tend to get sarcastic occasionally, and when i do, you know you're in deep shit.
- When i have a conversation, i'll usually look at the other party's face to show respect that i'm listening. If you're talking to me, and i don't look at you, means i'm annoyed with your topic. BUT, occasionally, if i'm busy, i'll let you know i'm listening, but i'll continue to do my work..lol..that's another different thing altogether.
- As i've mentioned, i'm a talkative person....so usually when you ask me A, i'll answer ABCDEFGHIJKL.......but if you ask me A, and i answer B only, meaning i do not want to talk to you anymore aka STFU PRONTO.....go bother someone else......

Yeap...some of the stuffs i mentioned sounds harsh and rude...but i'm a person who can't say NO right at your face. Hopefully you guys will understand what i've listed out and if you've done it before, please....don't do it again, not in front of me........

Thanks!

Taking up Sewing lessons

i was thinking......should i take up sewing lessons?
i mean, if it were a weekly thing, (weekends) then i suppose it should be ok, seeing that i hardly go out on weekends now....
Maybe i'll just join, and get the basic...how to cut cloth, draw patterns and USE THE SEWING MACHINE?

i wanted to ask my mom's tailor to take me as her apprentice, but unfortunately she is waaayyy too busy with her factory uniform making and taking care of her son.
Moreover, she stays in Subang....like HOMG, traffic jam people??

i've looked up Fashion Design courses, but i dont think i'll have time to follow the classes everyday as i'm a working adult....T^T
So, part time sewing lessons.......anyone for apprenticeship? i need a 'jedi master' to train under....lol.....
