GAHhh.....i've been deprived of anime events lately..

eversince June i think i haven't attended any events. DaiCon was the last event i attended this year...so damn korlian man.....

(nope, didn't go GACC because of the dreaded H1N1...instead i went photoshooting..haha..)

but i sort of almost forgot how an event is like....

I understand that this weekend there'll be an event, but...GAHHH..KL is like..so freaking far..><''''

why..!?! why can't it be somewhere in subang...??

(FYI...no, i'm not from subang, but it's nearer to home rather than KL)

And well, deprived of events = deprived of cosplays...

yes, i'm itching to put on costumes and wigs again.....

you see......i've been hitting the gym kinda often lately, and i've been er...rowing the boat....LOL..

Facing the Future~

I had a long talk with Riko last night and the ironic thing about it is, usually....i'll reminisce on the past instead of thinking what's to come. Usually with other friends, i'll be going like ' Do you remmeber the time when we blablabla '....or 'you know last time we blablabla......'

But, i find that talking about the future with Riko was kinda fun and it makes feels excited to face it.
It all started with me suggesting some crazy trip to Japan in 5 years time.
yeap, i thought...well, since i'm planning my financial accounts i might as well take that into consideration too...(have to plan people, else you'll end up with no savings AT ALL when you hit 30s)

So, tentatively, me and riko plan to visit Japan in the year 2014. Yes, it may seem long, but that's what makes it exciting. We have tonnes of time to plan for what to do, where to stay, when to go (which season) and whether or not to coincide with any events there when we visit.

Then one thing lead to another, and we began to think....WHOA..that time we'll be in our late 20s and early 30s.....It was amusing seeing her reaction, her request to switch with me...hahahah...
Whether or not we'll be married or be involved in a relationship that time.....(but GEH...i doubt i'll be married that time..haha....)

It was a change to talk about the future...haha...i even missed my drama to chat with her...it was kinda interesting talking about life with her..haha.....
anyway, riko ! i can't wait for the weekend you're coming down..!! and seriously i can't wait for December too...haha...(i'm going on LEAVE~~~~~~~)

ahem, for the future?

MiLO's Birthday..!!!

Nope, sorry guys..no photos...YET...hahha....
Coz i got home kinda late and i totally forgotten about Animax Musix today. Good thing i managed to rush home after gym to catch May'N sing Northern Cross, Iteza Gogo Kuji Don't Be Late and also Kimi Shinitamou Koto Nakare.
(lol...i just dumped everything on the floor...my gym cloths, my bottle..EVERYTHING! LOL)

It's MiLo's birthday..!!!!
everytime after September 18th (dad's birthday) the next birthday to look forward to is usually YOURS TRULY....
but this year, we have a new addition to the family calendar..!!!!

It's MiLO's birthday..!!!
He turns 5 this year..!! (human years...hahaha..)
so that makes him....er.....35 Dog years?

He was soooooooooooooooo cute today....we sort of played tug of war with a rug....
it's his favourite rug and he usually initiates the tug....
I pulled it all over the house, and he was on the other end holding on to dear life...hahaha...
(GAh...my back hurts now..i had to bend down while pulling for that gruelling but enjoyable 20 minutes)

After that, i fed him a bigger-than-normal treat because it's his BIG DAY today..!!!
I thought him a new trick too..!!!
I hid the treat in my palm, and made him sniff out which palm i had the treat.
Usually he'll look at the palm with the food...hahha...

NExt, it's photo session...
Well, the only camera i had that time was my phone, so yup...i camwhored with MiLO...
IT WAS SO DIFFICULT to get him to look at the camera....
I had my face licked SOOOOOOOOO many times and i only managed to get a few shots..hahha..
Most prob i'll upload the photos tomorrow, because my hp ran out of battery after that photo session....

All i can say is...WOW...!!

Lately there has been a mushroom bloom in the ACG scene, especially in the cosplay scene. One thing that irked me is that, it has slowly become to what we call as...'Kiasu-play'...

The competition on who is better than who, the comparison, who is going to outdo who......it's really sad and sickening to see it that way...
This has been on a certain forum for quite a while now...when i saw the thread up, i was surprised that that particular person would post it up this way...
