The competition on who is better than who, the comparison, who is going to outdo who......it's really sad and sickening to see it that way...
This has been on a certain forum for quite a while now...when i saw the thread up, i was surprised that that particular person would post it up this way...

Come on.....be realistic, how 100% can you get? there is no such thing as 100% cosplay......in fact, if you can get 100% cosplay, i'd be freaked out..Having eyes which spreads out 3/4 of your face.....it's worst than JU ON!!!
And height...well, i have nothing much to say to that.....

Well, if they can really pull it off, then i applaud you guys for being able to achieve this high quality group....if not, PLEASE for the love of god....don't be soooooo ambitious when you're just starting out.....

My goodness....i went O_____O the moment i read that thread and the response in the thread was very condescending, bordering on arrogance..especially requiring camwhore pix to join the team @___@
The spirit of cosplay is definitely missing/forgotten/overlooked and it's sad to see the local cosplay scene becoming like this :(
GZR>> Well, first of all, this entry is not about any conventions...It's about a particular photoshoot...But oh well, i guess you're just doing your job.
Anyway, in my opinion, how exciting, or, should i say, SUCCESSFUL an event depends on how well the MC is. That's just me...I've attended several events now and i find that if the MC is entertaining and knows his stuffs, then the event is successful.
I'm usually put off by MCs that 'have-not-done-their-homework'.
For example, you don't go calling everyone Rukia just because they are clad in some random traditional japanese garb....Or sailormoon everytime you see a sailor uniform.....
Apart from that, there are competitions, how it is judged, the venue, the entrance fee, the convenience....
in fact, i'll need one whole entry to suggest and feedback on conventions.
I believe it'd be better if you asked in forums and such for better and wider aspects of feedback.
I hope that you guys will be able to host a fantastic event in the near future. ^^

I believe she is trying to compete with those veteran cosplayers out there but then she do not know how to....well, 'measure her own body'?
It's always good to be ambitious, but too much of something is always bad.
Like i mean, how 100% can you get in cosplay? Nothing in life is 100%.
