why i hate window displays....

yup, i'm going to blog about my experience when i go window display-ing this time...
It's a real shitty experience i tell you...everytime i go for window display, i'll feel so much hatred, it made lelouch's hatred towards britannia looks so..pfft, petty....

Anyway,
yeah...the dreaded day came, so once again....our department, the EVERYTHING-ALSO-DO department had to head out to pharmacies all over selangor/ kl to display our promotional items, or rather....the pos materials of the month (i think...heck, we weren't told anything! we just had to go out and display..with our 'CREATIVITY'...pfft)

SO,
i'll list this down chronologically according to branches that i went starting from....

ENG ANN branch
overall, this branch is the MOST FRIENDLIEST-EST branch i've been to...ever since i started windows displaying..
well, it could be because my mom's a regular there....she goes there for her vytril and stuffs...
the store assistants were ever so helpful! they helped me clean up the area, wiped the dust off, dispose of the unwanted items, and also helped me shift the things that were in the way.
when i finished, she helped me put back everything (i was actually putting them back myself when she came to me and told me it's ok, she'll do it......)

Moreoever, the store assistants and supervisor all had smiley faces on them....
Overall, i rate this branch a 5 / 5......*thumbs up*

NEXT......

BANGSAR Branch
Getting there was no hassle, thanks to See Wah's GPS....(maigod, it was WAAAAAAAAY better than kenneth's GPS...this one was straightforward....LOL)
And then, parking wasn't that bad either...somehow i got lucky with parkings today...(all my parkings were kinda near to the outlets)
This branch....well......not much of a comment..somehow starting from this branch, all i got was black faces from the store assistants....i mean, WHAT THE FUCK DID I DO? DID I KILL YOUR DOG OR SUMTHING? WHY DO YOU GLARE (note, i used the word GLARE) at me when i told you i'm coming for the windows' display?
well, AT LEAST they did help me clean up the boxes from the previous company who displayed there...
I'd rate it a 3/5.....wait...make that 2.5/5......

NEXT, we head out to.....

DESA SRI HARTAMAS branch
MY GOD when i saw the display area for this, i was ever so thankful i lost weight...
seriously, if i were at my prime weight (lol..back in form 5, i weighed a whopping 90kg..haha)
i think i'd be stuck in between the glass and the wall..
IT WAS SO SMALL...it was in fact the smallest display area i've ever seen..!!!
(Glomac's branch look SO BIG compared to this....=_=)
i pulled a muscle around my neck area while displaying this......it was a light pull, so nothing much to worry about...
Though, i'd say this branch is kinda friendly......(well, DUH, they were both chinese ladies!)
So, i kinda settled this branch kinda fast....I COULDN'T DO MUCH! i CAN'T FIT INTO THE DISPLAY AREA FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!!!!!!
OH...one thing about this branch...i had to 'patah balik' to this branch because when i almost turned out into the highway, i realized......I LEFT THE TOOLBOX BEHIND!!!!
i had to make an illegal U Turn, and when i headed back, i saw DBKL giving autographs to cars..LOL.......

So that's that....no hassle with parkings and directions......parking for this branch was the BEST....it was directly IN FRONT OF the store! LOL....(and there was a KFC opposite it....but i refrained myself.....it was lunch time too....T^T)
i'd rate this branch a 3/5......would have given it a 4 if it werent for the SMALL DISPLAY AREA.....and the pulling of my neck muscle....=_=

NEXT STOP.....
SS15 Subang
okay, before i say anything about this branch...let me summarize this branch in 2 words.....
FUCKED-UP BRANCH (lol....wait...this is 3 words? LOL)
yup, it's a fucked up branch.....parking was a catastrophe, and the people who worked in that branch all had the my-mom/husband-just-died-this-morning look.... WTF? you're working in retails, you're trying to sell your product....the least you could do is smile!..
THEN, this pharmacies...Miss LEE...(yes, i remembered her name)
she was transferred from Subang Caring to this branch.....(yes, i even know that, because i saw her in Caring last year)
she is one of the MOST FUCKED UP STUCK UP pharmacies EVER....
Hey, it doesn't mean that you're a pharmacies meaning you're worth more than me...
Human dignity does not vary.....so give a little sense of respect will you? bitch....

AND, the store assistants, whoa.....when i approached them and told them i'm here for the display, one of them told me...

'I THOUGHT IT'S TOMORRoW? can you come back tomorrow for the display'
..........................seriously, at that time, i wanted to shout at her...

but no...i regained my composure and told her...
' The Sales Rep has already informed you all, didn't she? My boss told me to come for the display today. Why is it that other branches gave me the green light, but your branch is asking me to come back tomorrow?'

She looked at her colleague, and then told me to ask the pharmacist..
fine, i'll go look for MISS LEE.....and i came back telling the store assistant....SHE SAID I COULD DISPLAY..
(pfft, talk about bad communication....)
fine, i displayed...blablabla.....and then, all of a sudden, there were 2 - 3 store assistants, trying to look out whether i'll steal stuffs....BAH, come on, would i steal sweets? i wouldn't be that stupid.....if i were to steal, i'd be looking at the cash register....DUH...

So, i got so pissed with this branch, i just removed all the old display, and left it aside....
i thought, HECK CARES...it's your branch...you clean it....
this branch, i'll rate it -5/5...YES...there is a negative in front of the 5....
WORST BRANCH EVER......WORST!!!!!!

parking, well....i had to DOUBLE PARK...this place is a mess.....good thing 5 minutes later i managed to get a parking...(only because my car was blocking that car)

TAIPAN branch
Well, after all that mental volcanic eruption, at least this branch was more civilized...
parking wasn't that hard...i had to wait in the car for a while, but not long after that (around 3 mins i guess) a car reversed and i parked across the store.....kinda near too...
This branch's display area was kinda ok.....not too big, not too small....just right for the pos materials i had...
I was fuming when i reached this branch, but thank god Riko called me that time and i had a chat with her...
well, i couldn't carry on with my displaying because the aunties were standing there, and i couldn't access that area
QUESTION : how long do you need to pay an item?
ANSWER : the auntie took a full 20 minutes to pay her stuffs.....and i was stalled 20minutes there because of that.....she was standing RIGHT AT THE DISPLAY AREA, and i told her excuse me so many times, even i got annoyed...

USJ 2/2c branch
OKAY, the final branch......was kinda glad that all the nightmare was over.......NOT!!!!
this display area was so small, i think it could rival GLOMAC's.....once again, i thank god that i lost weight....else, i think i'll have a hard time displaying in this branch.
MOREVER, it was so FREAKING hot.......the aircond was blowing out hot air, and i was standing right under the aircond......imagine...=_=...hot, dry air was blowing at you when you're moving in a confined space trying to beautify the area. one word for this....TORTURE!

OKAY, finally finished displaying...what do i do with the previous display boxes? yup, i told the girl there that the boxes are there...so you guys know what to do with it..
omaigod.....my blood pressure shot up when that girl answered me she dunno..
here's how the conversation sounded...
me : Ok, i'm done already. The boxes from the previous display are there....i suppose you guys know what to do with it rite?
girl : EH....i dunno....
me : but i'm not responsible for those boxes....
girl : i really dunno la (in a rude tone), you go and ask the store assistant at the back. i'm new here
me : *stare at her* .........

before she muttured another word, i stormed into the store, and asked the supervisor...
then, i treated that girl as if she is invincible......when i walked off, i just notified the supervisor and didn't even glanced at the girl.
i mean, HELLLOOO? it's your store....it's your rubbish, you don't expect me to clean it for you...
rating, another -5/5.....
well, at least the pharmacist here is nice......ok, for that...i'll rate it a -4/5....there...justice done..

*** EXTRA NOTE ***
most of the branches are manned by MAH CHANS....(email me or pm me if you wanna know what it means)
the reason why they looked so paria is because of those mah chans...they can never progress because of their mindset.......always protected, always being lazy, and have no sense of urgency.
This is why our country are plunging into a destructive state. It's because of these mah chans!
Look at the rest of the world, where there are no MAH CHANs, they prosper so much faster than us.......
and most often than not, these mah chans carry the my-mom/husband-just-died looks on their faces....GOSH, it made me wanted to slap them....

well, why i hate window display, sidestory
yup, why i hate it? you see.....i'm a degree holder...i graduated with a Bachelor's degree. But, we were bestowed upon treatment that are not equivalent to our qualifications. Me and my colleagues well, we are often looked down when we go for these jobs. It's a saddening thing, don't you think?

ALL IN ALL, i'm glad this is over...let's hope the next windows display is next year....
