It was tears of admirability (if there is such a word).....for i know, not every country can execute, much less follow 5% of what they are doing now.
Japan, considerably one of the top 5 strongest and richest country in the world, fell to the wrath of mother nature on the 11th of March 2011, but they are slowly standing up....
but what made me look up to them the most if their selfless deed in helping people around them.
The people stood up, supported each other in these few days of limited water, food and electricity. A line as long as you could imagine was formed, just for a phone call home...but what amazes me was that there was no shoving, no stealing and fighting....everyone lined up and waited for their turn.
Tokyo Disneyland was handing out free food and drinks to the people that were stranded nearby, people were giving out heating pads and offering breads. There was no crime, looting or havoc.
As quoted from one of ther survivors, 'We're all in this, in the same boat'...
Really, these are heart warming stories that could bring anyone to tears...

I couldn't guarantee that should such disaster happen, or something HALF this size of this disaster happen in where i'm staying (touch wood!), these stories would surface. I foresee crime, looting, fighting and ultimately MORE lives lost, but i do not rule out that there maybe miracles happening in this little country from where i am.
People you meet, you see, heck, even those driving on the road daily are already selfish as they are.
Even the person closest to you now MIGHT NOT do what the Japanese have done for each other in times of difficulties.
God, please have mercy on Japan. Some say it's karma, others feel it's just a matter of coincidence. Karma or not, i feel no one in this world deserves to go through such sufferings.
Japan has colored our lives with so many great things. Technology, Knowledge, Entertainment.....
JAPAN, OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU...
stay strong..!!!!
