Agitated....MUCH!

RANT POST AHEAD~~~~~

well, i thought my therapy of going for a weekend vacation could mend my lethargy and tiredness of making prop..turns out, well...it did take my mind off certain things, but new things popped up and began messing with my mood..

I was originally ok with everything....but turns out, i think i know why i can't find a suitable partner after all these years..
I think it's because of my.....how do you say it...'compatibility-duration'...
i need time out for almost everything......that being said, i can't spend too long a period of time with selective people....
i dunno how to explain this, but it does get frustrating at times...

NEXT...
it's regarding my costume that's coming from China....
I have no idea what blunder happened, but in the end it was my costume that was left behind in China...
and MY COSTUME is the one that has the most alterations to be made....and THAT PARTICULAR costume had to be the one to be left behind..
talk about SHITTY luck........
and to add to the shitty luck, China had to go on a 1 week holiday...and with that, my costume is being held back another 1 week.....TOPPINg up with the amount of time needed to reach my place, that'd take almost half a month.....

I wouldn't wanna be pointing fingers here..all i could blame is my luck that hasnt' been too good lately...
Maybe i should go pray in the temple or sumthing......

Toothaches...worse pain EVER!!!

well, no pain could rival that of a Toothache...
It connects so freaking close to your brains, that it makes you go out of your mind.

I originally wanted to continue completing my prop making during the weekend...but then the pain took whatever i mood i had.
In fact, it took more than my mood...it took a hefty RM230 from me....
the dentist did some filling in and washing of the teeth..

Did it hurt? well, not at that time...because the sedative was doing it's job...
Now that the sedative's effect is gone...

YES..it hurts FUCKING MUCH.....
i feel like killing myself now...
the pain is a real torture....=_=

Of injuries, 2 broken needles and lots of blood...

Yeah, well..basically that's what i got when i was making my prop...
The harness was a pain in the ass and to push a needle through the cardboard...(i have no idea what the name of the cardboard was..=_=) is a pain in the skin....and i meant that literally pain in the skin..!!

Why? well, you see..
the needles that i was pushing through the board broke, and i couldn't find the broken piece...
In a rational's person mind, obviously the first step after you drop a needle (or a broken piece of it), you immediately search for it on the floor......you wouldn't want to be stepping on it later..

So yeah, i searched around for it, and then i noticed there were drops of blood around the floor...SO DUH?!?!? surely you'll be searching for the source of blood rite? (if it just appeared out of thin air, then i'd be VERY AFRAID..LOL..my room is possessed or something..LOL)

SO, i noticed a slight tinging pain when fling my hands around...OH...i finally found the broken piece of needle..
yup, stuck into my thumb....and the blood all over the floor was FROM MY THUMB..
HOLY COW after the realization, i began to feel immense pain....
(funny rite? when you didn't notice, you don't feel it...once your eyes sees it, it sends the message to your brains and tells you that it SHOULD BE PAINFUL AND YOU SHOULD REACT)
well, yeah...i reacted...jumping around the room, shouting out loud...

The pain was so immense, that even the receptors from my thumb went numb from the shock..
so yeah...i washed the wound (OUCH~!) and wrapped it up with tissue..(no plasters around that time...LOL)
and i continued sewing..
YUP...2nd needle broke again.....good thing this time it didn't pierce through my fingers..otherwise i think i'd have given up making that stupid prop.....

not only that, my other fingers were also pierced with needles in the process of sewing..
GAHHHHHHH....i'm just not gifted with needleworks.....

As for pictures, i figure i'll post them up when i'm done with the skeletal structure.....now the harness is still in a mess....=_=
My phobia of needles is getting stronger...><;;

Prop Tutorial : Black Moon Clan's Earrings (Sailormoon R)

Yup..i think i'll start to compile my tutorials on prop making here.....It's a way for me to remember how to make it in the future, should my current one gets busted...LOL..

Disclaimer : I'm making these props based on what i work with best..it's not EXACTLY the BEST way to make it (IMHO) but it works.....i'm sure there are better tutorials out there on prop making and what nots, but seeing that it's kinda limited to get materials around my area (without having to drive out for at least 30 mins), i work my way around what i can find nearby...^^

ANYWAY~~~ here goes....

Tutorial #1
- How to make Black Moon Clan's Earrings (from Sailormoon R) -

OOOOOOO.....Prince Diamond..!! <3<3<3

You'll need
- Diamonds (refer to picture)
- Earring accesories (the thing to be pierced through your ears)
- Print out patterns (refer to picture)
- UHU glue
- Gold Dust
- Fishing strings
- Black Spray Paint
- JPOP n KPOP SONGS! (LOL!)

First, you'll need to to have sketched out drawings of the top pattern of the earrings..
(i can't draw freehand on a symmetrical pattern, so i resorted to Adobe illustrator for the pattern..LOL)
Then i printed a whole lot of it out on Hard Card (this is to prevent the paper from tearing when i'm cutting them)

LOL...printed these out in my office.....XD

After that, cut out AT LEAST 3 of these and glue them together (here's where the UHU glue will play it's part ^^)
Have 2 sets of these for each side of the earring..(meaning in total you'll need 4 of these pattern thingy...)
Be generous with the UHU...it's ok if it overflows because that way, it'll be sticky enough for the gold dust to be stuck on...
After you've glued those cut out patterns together, it'll look thicker and somewhat not-so-fragile...LOL..

Apply another coat of UHU onto the pattern and then SPRINKLE AWAY..!! (be the toothfairy..!! XD)

it'll look something like this....

Be prepared for pixie dust all over the fingers....LOL

OKAY..that's the pattern part...
Now for the diamonds........It was a real pain in the neck to find the diamond shape that i want, i almost ripped apart my Sheryl earrings until one day, my colleague told me she found the shape that i wanted...only thing was, it's was transparent..not black..
WOOOT..i went..NVM..!! whatever color is ok, i'm gonna spray it black anyways..!!! LOL..
So here it is..the before and after of the diamonds...

The left image is the measurements i had for the pattern....
sort of measured it with the diamonds before i actually print them out....(worried they'd be too big..haha)

Once the paint dries up, attach those earring hook thingy onto the diamond (the little silver looking thing you see on top of the diamond)...I got mine from Art Friends for RM5.....and there were 8 pairs in that small pack...XD

After that, i took apart one of my older earrings and fixed this diamond onto it.....Glue the pattern you have sprinkled gold dust on both sides to create the 3D illustion.....
It'll look something like this...XD

One side done....another one more to go..!!

Do the same for both sides, and WALA...you got your Black Moon Clan earrings....XD

Yeah well, not exactly the PRETTIEST THING IN THE WORLD......but it works..!! XD

Will be using this for my upcoming photoshoot.....I know it isn't the PRETTIEST thing in the world, but it's as close as i can get...
I'll still go hunt and see if i could find the pattern (the gold part) for the earrings.....but for the time being....this works..!! XD

COFFEE QUEEN IS BACK!!!

wohooo....yup, i only manage to last 06 days without coffee.....well, it's a good start i guess?
my colleague mentioned that i look and act differently this week..

WHY?
BECAUSE I DRANK COFFEE!!!
(today i drank 3 cups....Ughh......moderation hito..MODERATION!!!)

so ya...i got fedup waiting for the office's coffee machine.....so i brought my own coffee to office and WAHLA.......the aroma of coffee..OMAIGOD..is heavenly!!!~~~!!!

and my legs are jelly now....why? i ran 6 km, climbed almost 100 steps and sauna-ed for 15 mins...*dies*
the things i do to lose weight......Oh..and my fuel is 2 slices of wholemeal bread and tuna....YAY~~!!!

and yup..random post is random..LOL!!!

Day 03 without Coffee...

Day 03 without coffee....really t'was a torturing 3 days without that black antioxidant liquid....
I tried so hard to resist it, and there were many times i almost gave into temptation....

Not that coffee is making my body rot or whatever, it's just that, i have no idea why the hell i went and make that stupid vow of not taking coffee until they installed the coffee machine in the office...

It is plain torture to not drink it every morning...i felt so restless and often times i'd be so sleepy and sometimes go through mild headache...
ESPECIALLY when it hits 4pm in the evening...that's the worse time of the day...
you'd have to pry you eyes open to complete your daily task at work, and not.....faint at the same time...

My body has gone through almost 72 hours without the caffeine beans......so let's hope monday they install the machine...
i saw the beans and ingredients ready, but it's just that machine that wasn't there...

THOUGH, not all things are bad while i went on a coffee hiatus...
i noticed my face has less pimples popping out (but there still are 1 or 2)....and...well, that's the only good thing....

I NEED MY COFFEE FIX!!!!!

Coffee HIATUS!!!

okay, before you start yelling 'BLASHPHEMY!!!!!'......well, i thought i'd give it a try..haha.

yeah well, i've been given the nickname 'kopi gui'....aka Coffee Ghoul / Hantu Kopi, mainly because i couldn't live through a day without drinking coffee.
I could easily down 5 - 6 cups of coffee/ expresso/ cappucino/ etc......and still sleep soundly like a piglet at night.....hahaha..
caffein does not have anymore effect on my body..hahaha..

why did i start this vow?
well...first of all....i'm running low on my coffee supply, and thought 'hmm, since my office is going to have a FREE FLOW (WOHOO!!) coffee machine in the pantry soon, might as well i stop for a time being now'...because i know when the machine is ready, i definitely will be one of the top fan visiting the area...hahaha..

secondly, i notice my facial condition aka pimple attack is getting worse.....i'm not sure if it's due to coffee, but i thought i might as well give it an experimental try to stop, and see if the condition becomes better...

3rd....lol...the same old...I HAVE NO MONEY TO BUY COFFEE ANYMORE...><
thus, waiting for the machine to be ready..hahahah..

Today was my first day going through this FASTING period.....
one word..

TORTURE!!!!! *dies*
even tea couldn't help much.....PFft....=_=
