of Black and White Cosplays...

YES, finally after 6 months.....i decided to put on some costumes and jump around like a crazy nutter..!!
first of all....nope...no preview photos....because i find taking cosplay shots of myself with my phone is not flattering to my body.....and holding a sword and mask AND a phone..is hazardous....
i only have 2 hands, 2 palms....LOL..

ANYWAY..~~~
yup, C2AGE is dawning upon us....after a hiatus of 6 months, i decided to crawl out of my hibernation and cosplay for an event. Well, a little speck of bug like me wouldn't make any difference whether or not i cosplayed but.....I WANNA COSPLAY WITH RIKOOOOOO..!!

Ahem~~
as i was saying..
my choices of cosplays are always contrasting, or weird.
Like for example, for this weekend, i'll be appearing 1 day in FULL BLACK (from top to toe....=_=) and the next day......FULL WHITE!! (hallelujah for correct time of the month..!!)

why so genki? well, i just finished camwhoring in full regalia and i suddenly found the excitement again to cosplay.....i've been so hooked up with work lately that i dind't have time to focus on cosplay at all.....
and i didn't want to put on my costumes in that 6 months because i've piled on weight....
Good thing i managed to shed some pounds.....so i was thinking, why not i camwhore around..LOL

posing was a disaster....i totally forgot what are the do's and dont's....(riko help me..T^T)
and then came another trouble.....i was wearing gloves, and i decided HEY, why not refer to the photos in the phone?
GAHHHH.......it's iPhone for Christ sake..!! i can't wear gloves and work them..!!! (OH NOESSSSSSSSssss)
and yes, i'll be wearing gloves for both days of the cosplay event....BRAVO HITO..!! YOU DA GENIUS..!!

nevertheless, i still look forward to this weekend because i can finally meet up with riko neesan again...XD
the last time she came down, everything was so rushed.....so i hope this time i could have some....bedtalks with her..XD XD

Mom : Eh, how come you never bring any guys home...?
Me: huh????
Mom : Aiya...why no boyfriend yet?
Me : errrr.....these type of things rite, canot force wan leh...
Mom : But, also can start to find already rite? no need to slowly wait...this is the 21st century..you must fight for your happiness.....blablablabla......
Me : *starts singing with the song on my FM modulator* *ignores mom's preach*

Mom : Ehh...how come, still no boyfriend a?
Me : NOT THIS AGAIN???
Mom : no la, i'm worried that once you pass your age, then bo liao leh.. ( FYI, 'bo liao' means FINISH!)
Me : Canot force wan wor these things...let it come naturally mar...
Mom : Your dad also asking me liao leh....why you no bf...so....weird....
Me : WAHLIUEHHHH....DAD ALSO ASKING LIAO!??!?! WTH.....


So basically, my parents are waiting to kick me out of the house? but but but...what did i do wrong????? T^T
What's with parents nowadays.........

have you ever felt that when another person makes a choice, it reflects back on yourself, having made that choice before...
and what if that person's choice landed her in a better place, but for yours.....turned you into a laughing stock?

well yes.....i've been through this...and well, it might be that i'm thinking too much..but somehow, you're bound to think of the 'what if(s)'.....
Just recently, i felt a slight pierce in my feelings....I know it's not about me, but it was somewhat related to me that made me feel....a little....queasy.

OH well, i needed to vent this out....yeap, i know some of you out there might be thinking ' PFFt, what the hell is this crazy girl talking about now in this entry?????'
i don't blame you.....only close people know what i've been through and though i've made that decision of not looking back, it sometimes comes back to haunt you.

i'm so looking forward to Friday now....I get to have a slumber party and sisterly talk with Riko....something which i really need now....

it's official..i'm an addict...

for the past month, i've been frequenting Starbucks so many times i have lost count. It's like it's my 2nd home now....

And now, i think i'm an addict..LOL..

Ever since Starbucks had their Happy Hour Promotion (whereby you buy ANY SIZED FRAPPUCCINO @ half price), i've been craving for their brews....be it hot or cold.

Yeap, and now....TADAH....i finally took one of these home....it's like...my bible of some sort now...LOL

MY BIBLE!!!

Anyway, most probably i'll collect Starbucks (or starbucks lookalike) merchandise starting from now..
Oh boy..there goes my money again....=_=

of FUR and LEATHER!

liek finally..!!! i bought my share of leather from Kamdar, Mid Valley....!!
not that i have anything lined up, but then i thought better to get it before it's gone, and according to the person there, it seems that they'll only restock ONCE every year for leather.

OK, well...it's not EXACTLY genuine leather, it's those PU cloth...but good enough for me to make my costumes.
I'm not too sure what i'll do with the leather yet (pants? top?gloves?) but well....i bought a good 2 meters of it. I can't afford to get anymore than that because well....it came at the wrong time of the month..bankruptcy came knocking on my door the other day..LOL

RIKO!!! you don't have to go all the way to Singapore to buy fur anymore..!!!
I was amazed that they had this and i immediately took a photo of it...i had wanted to upload it and announce to the world there and then, but PFFt....Digi had to be an arse that time.....

This fur is selling @ RM24.90 per meter....a wee bit pricey, but considering the fact that a friend of mine lugged her fur all the way from Singapore, that amount is kinda reasonable...LOL

The fur is still very much available when i went today, but the leather, according to the man there, is selling fast. He mentioned that last year, someone came in and bought the ENTIRE roll...(no wonder i can't find any black leather there anymore..!!!)
i'm guessing it must've been one of the cosplayers....LOL....

ANYWAY, hopefully they'll restock more of these in the future so that it'll ease all our problems of sourcing for materials....

Energizer Night Race 2011 - The Refund

Remember last month's fiasco regarding the disastrous Energizer run? well, it seems that after Energizer decided to take over, the participants' emotions and anger has been, let's just say, 'suppressed' well?

ANYWAY, as i was saying.....just the other day i was mentioning and ranting to a fellow colleague of mine (who was also one of the participants of the run) regarding the refunds. As it is approaching end of May soon, i was thinking, 'Hey, is Energizer just pulling our legs, lying to us saying that they'll refund us?'...

well guess what...i woke up today and my mom passed me a cheque of the refund. I guess big companies does thing differently....(unlike you-know-what-dumb-organizer does things *coughsEXPOSEcoughs*)
So anyway, this proves that Energizer REALLY meant what they say and the next thing to look forward to?
My promised goodie bag!

according to my phone's whether info, the temperature is as high as 36 degrees Celsius..i bet millions of icebergs in the Antartic is melting like hell...

It's just way too hot..!!!!
the weather is so crazy these few days....one moment it'll pour like crazy, the next it's hot as hell..
